PhD defense Arda Tezcan

Arda Tezcan successfully defended his PhD on March 14th, 2018. His dissertation entitled Informative Quality Estimation of Machine Translation Output was supervised by Prof. dr. Lieve Macken (Ghent University) and Prof. dr. Véronique Hoste (Ghent University). For this research Arda explored a comprehensive approach to automatic error detection and took a first step towards informative quality estimation systems of machine translation by applying novel deep learning techniques.
