Amaury Van Parys

Amaury Van Parys is a PhD candidate at the Linguistics Department of Ghent University and is part of the MULTIPLES and LT3 research groups. He obtained an MA in Translation (Dutch-English-Spanish) and an MSc in Teaching from Ghent University in 2020 and 2021, respectively. After a semester of teaching English at KU Leuven, he started his PhD at Ghent University in February of 2022. He is interested in second language acquisition and computer-assisted language learning. For his PhD research, he analyses the characteristics of written input learners are exposed to in the L2 classroom employing corpus-driven as well as behavioural methods.
