LT3 at NITS and Anéla

Conference season is in full force, with 2 more conferences where our colleagues presented their work.

First, Paola presented her work at NITS in Antwerp on Friday 31 May. She talked about how she compared three different tools to measure literary translators' efforts. 

Secondly, our colleagues were also present at Anéla, which took place in Ghent last week.

  • Orphée and Vanessa De Wilde presented their work on automated essay scoring in beginner L2 English writers.
  • Amaury talked about his research into the lexical and grammatical characteristics of English and French L2 textbook reading materials.
  • Ella presented the MaTIAS project, which aims to leverage Machine Translation to inform asylum seakers with a multilingual messaging system.
